~Dressing Up~

I'm all Done Dressing UP!

I've been wanting to take some cute pictures of the girls, so I finally did. I got these fairy dresses and made some tutus for a craft show I'm doing in 3 weeks at Peach Days in Utah. So, I decided to try them out and see how they look. The girls were done after the 4th outfit, I could have kept going, but I got what I could. I have little tutu costumes that I'm selling, that's why Kambri's dressed up as a Bee, Ladybug and Witch. I thought I would try them on her to see how they fit. She wasn't to happy in the pictures, because she wanted the icecream I had promised her for taking the pictures and she just couldn't get her mind off it (I don't know why??) Anyways, it worked out good. Usually I can never get a face picture of Kambri, but I was actually able to this time.

Well, that's our news for the week. Oh, and Kambri has Pink Eye, so nobody come to our house this week. When we went to the doctor's I kept telling her we were going to see my friend so she wasn't so scared (Brett's genius idea). Which he did at the dentist and everything went great. Well I thought I would give it a try. She knows the doctor building so it didn't work so great at first because she kept saying, "no doctor touch my eye." She knew where we were without me even saying anything about it. Anyways, it did work later after the nurse calmed her down and I read her a book to make her a little more comfortable. She wasn't even getting shots. Anyways, after we were done at the doctors, we were in the parking lot and Kambri fell down and hurt her elbow and she said she wanted to see her friend again, so it did work and hopefully next time she won't be so scared.

Kambri has been wanting to play with Sydnee all week, but I had to keep telling her she can't because she's sick and we don't want to get Sydnee sick, but she doesn't understand very well. So, I can't wait until she is all better.

There's all the news for the week. Just trying to keep two little girls happy and healthy.

Update

Well a little update since the last time we blogged. Not a whole lot of new things are happening but thought I would put on some new photos of the kids. Also we went to Brigham City for the weekend to see Ryan and Stephanies new baby Brinlee. Congratulations on the new baby! Also we have been stuck in Pocatello for the summer with Brett taking CPA courses and getting ready for the GMAT to go to Master's school. We've made the most of it.

Ryan, Stephanie, and Brinlee

Little Kaylee as happy as can be!

The little chair at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We thought we'd try to put Kaylee and see how she would fit. Almost a perfect fit.

Today at the park and outside playing in the pool.

~Pioneer Day Parade~

July 20, 2008-Pioneer Parade in Pocatello, Idah0

I took the girls to the parade with our friends, the Smith's. They have a little girl, Kambri's age. Brett had to go to school today, so wasn't able to come with us. I made him take all the CPA classess this summer, so now I think he's haten me for it. I would to. Anyways, here Kambri is getting ready to go. She was so excited. She was ready in the car, 20 minutes before we had to leave. Kaylee was very fussy today. Usually she is never fussy in the morning. So, it was hard to get both girls ready by myself, but I guess it worked out (somehow). We arrived at the parade right on time. Which is good, then your not waiting forever for it to start.

This was a very long parade. It lasted for an hour. Here was some of the floats, and our wards float: Best of Friends

Sydnee and Kambri love playing together. Syndee is 6 months younger than Kambri and has now learned how to open their door, so she opens their door and runs to our house to come see Kambri. Kambri always wants to go and eat at Sydnee's or go to the park with her. They play really well together.

Little Baby Kaylee

Kaylynn Jo Dayley

Born April 29, 2008

Weighed 7 lbs. 4 ounces

21 inches tall

This was a quick one. I went to the hospital 1 week and two days before my due date to be induced. We arrived at 7 am, was put on oxytin at 7:20 am, the doctor broke my water at 7:30 and then I had her at 8:16 am. It was a crazy delivery. My parents had just left and we were already calling them to tell them we had a little girl.

It's a wonderful experience each time, seeing your newborn baby. It's such a miracle. We were so excited to have her, of course a little worried, but Kaylee put our worries to rest. We didn't really hear her cry until the next day. She was so quiet. The nurses would forget about her in the nursery to bring her back to us. So, I would have to call each time to have them bring her back in the room. She's been a joy to our family and love her very much.

Of course we didn't forget about Kambri. Who is the little princess in our life. She can sure push our buttons at times, but we love her very much. She has been so good to Kaylee. She trys to help out, by putting her binky in her mouth (I guess she thinks she just can't live without it, much like herself)!

July 6, 2008

This last sunday we blessed Kaylee. Both our families came. My parents, Jenny, and Shelby, and his parents and Todd and Norma and their three kids, Tevin, Amber, and Max.
