Halloween

Haven't had a chance to update this for a month....oh well.

So here are some of Kambri's pictures from Halloween. We only had one trick-or-treater stop by. But we weren't home most of the night. We went to the Trunk-or-Treat. It was held up at our church house. Kambri loved it.

Here is a picture of Kambri and her friend Sydnee (spelled correctly, sorry Courtney).

They filled their bags full of candy and then we went to the Smiths and had dinner with them. They had made a different type of dinner. I have never eaten a pumpkin, but have never turned down trying something new. They had prepared it and it tasted like squash. There was also a rice and beef food in it. It was delicious.

It has been a tradition of ours to put the Christmas tree up the week of Thanksgiving. So we placed the tree up and to our surprise some of the lights on the tree didn't light up. Oh well, I guess Brett will have to go and fix it. As you can see the whole top is missing its lights. It is five years old and is a pre-lit tree. The whole middle was off, but Brett has already fixed them.

We have also started to collect a hallmark ornament each year for each of us. So now we have a total of 11 and are getting 3 more. It's kind of a fun deal each year. A couple more years and it's going to be tough to find spots on the tree to put them on.
We find out next month what the baby is going to be. It doesn't matter what the gender is, just as long as it is healthy.

Kambri's 2nd Birthday Party!!!

We celebrated Kambri's birthday a couple times in a week. We started it out on Monday October 1st and celebrated it three times throughout the week. That Monday, Brett's mom came to our house and went out to lunch with us and we opened their gifts. She got a little jacket and a set of clothes. Kambri loves that jacket.
That night we had some of our friends over. They have a little girl that is only a couple of months younger than Kambri. Everytime we drive by their house, Kambri starts yelling "Nee, Nee" that's short for Sidney. It's good to let Kambri go over and play with her to get some of that energy out of her. Plus, they play well together. We had some dinner, birthday cake and had a good time talkin and playin games.

This was just Monday. Her actual birthday wasn't even until Thursday.

When Thursday came around, Brett's parents surprised us and came and visited. The only problem was Brett had to be at a work luncheon. So they went to lunch without him.

Friday night, we had a mission reunion with Brett's two mission presidents together. When Brett was on his mission, they closed one of the missions and the Duesseldorf mission became the Frankfurt mission. The Duesseldorf president became the Frankfurt president. Anyways, long story short, he had both mission presidents to see and one of them was from Germany. We went with Tacie's cousin and her husband to it. (Scott served with Brett in Frankfurt, then introduced Tacie to Brett later)

Saturday, Tacie went with her Mom and Sisters to DownEast Outfitters in Logan. They were trying to get rid of a ton of inventory and so they were selling huge sacks and selling them for $10. Then you stuffed the bags full of as many shirts as you could. Tacie got 51 shirts, skirts, and other items stuffed into that bag. Tacie's mom got 141 items into two bags. CRAZY!?!!! Tacie also went to Old Navy and picked up Kambri's Halloween Costume. Here is the little princess trying it on.
Sunday, we had a bunch of friends come to Kambri's party. All of Tacie's brothers and Sisters came. Clayton, Jenna, and Roman, and Stephen, Dayna, Taj, and Duncan also came. It's always fun to come down and see everybody. We had a great time hangin out with everybody. Kambri loves all of her friends.
Sorry Stephen, that's the only one we got of you guys. Kambri opened gifts. Sheesh, she had more gifts than I received for Christmas. Then she blew out the candle and we all ate cake!

Quite the week! We had an awesome time though. Tacie hasn't been feelin well since the pregnancy. She has been quite sick the last 3-4 weeks. So this was a much needed break for us. Did I mention that for dinner we had all the Arby's you could eat. Clayton and Steve are fans!

jUst having FuN!

This was at the reservoir in Blackfoot.
There they are making
ripples in the water!

Kambri loved playing on the jungle gym and picking up rocks to throw in the water.

During the summer we stayed with my family for a week while Brett went on a business trip. Here are some things Kambri did, while we were there.

Loves to swing, all by herself on the big swings!

Best $5 I ever spent. She loves this car! It's her favorite thing to play with outside. She pushes it more than she's in it, but whatever works!

Summer Fun!

LOoks like the sUmmer fun has started!

May 14th through the 18th, Brett and I went on a cruise with my two brothers Ryan and Tyler Worthy. We wanted to go before Tyler left on his mission to Brazil.

We drove down to Los Angeles to board the ship. Then, it was to Catalina Island.

We had to ride on a little boat to get to the Island.

While we were there, we spent our time sight seeing and shopping at the little local shops in town. We spent a few hours there on the Island.

This was a funny sign that we saw on a store's window in Catalina.
The next day, was Ensanada, Mexico. We were docked there all day, from 8am until 8pm. We decided to catch the shuttle bus to the famous "Blowhole," and then shop at the local vendors.

The shops were crazy. Everyone hollering at you to come to there shop. We were suckers though. Brett and I bought a bunch of Toys for Kambri, some blankets, and Brett bought a chess set.

Here's some shops down town, after we went to the Blowhole and to the local vendor shops.

The next day, we were at sea for a full day. So, we just hung out.
We went hot tubbin or course, went to some shows that were playing,
shopped a little, went tanning, and of course I got my hair done. It's a lot cheaper on the last day to go to the hair salon and spa. It was nice to just relax for once.

Oh, and of course we ate and ate. Here we are at dinner. We had a formal dinner on Tuesday night, were we wore our formal clothes and had pictures taken. Every night we would have 4 course meals. Our favorite dessert was Melting Cake. It was delicious. Brett had to get two every night (maybe that's why he gained 10 pounds)ha! ha! We also had midnight pizza every night and an ice cream cone. Maybe that's another reason we gained some poundage.

It was definately an adventure! We missed Kambri very much though. My family took her for that week, I'm sure they had fun. She got spoiled, that's for sure.

We had a blast. Brett keeps asking when our next cruise is.
